Moravian Mission Site & Cemetery at 2920 Georgia 52 Alternate, Chatsworth, Georgia.

This is an under-appreciated piece of Georgia and US history, well worth a visit when in middle-Georgia. There is no welcome center or the usual amenities but that is to be expected on this sort of site. It is a small, quiet cemetery where some early Georgia missionaries and educators are buried. Interestingly, these missionaries were not the convert-the -heathen type but came, and stayed, by invitation of the Cherokee Chief Vann. They only left when the US broke the land treaty and gave away the land by lottery to eastern settlers.
